福岡 直方 遠賀川河川敷 チューリップ約15万本が見頃 桜も満開
福岡県直方市の河川敷ではおよそ15万本のチューリップが見頃を迎え、大勢の家族連れでにぎわいました。
直方市の中心部を流れる遠賀川の河川敷では、40種類のチューリップ、およそ15万本が見頃を迎えています。
チューリップは去年11月に地元のボランティアが植え付け、観光物産振興協会によりますと寒波の影響で開花が遅れたものの、今は8分咲きまで開花したということです。
好天に恵まれた5日は大勢の家族連れなどが訪れ、花壇の間を歩きながら花を楽しんでいました。
また、河川敷に植えられた桜も満開となり、彩りを添えていました。
北九州市から家族で訪れた小学3年の女の子は「いろんな色があってきれいで、植えた人がすごいと思いました」と話していました。
飯塚市から家族で訪れた男性は「ちょうど天気もよくて子どもも喜んでいます」と話していました。
花の見頃は今月中旬まで続きそうだということです。
