フィギュア 紀平梨花 来年の五輪出場の可能性なくなる
フィギュアスケート女子シングルで、2018年のグランプリファイナルを制した紀平梨花選手が来年のミラノ・コルティナオリンピックの代表選考を兼ねた全日本選手権につながる中部選手権を欠場することになり、オリンピック出場の可能性がなくなりました。
23歳の紀平選手は、トリプルアクセルなどを高い完成度でこなすスケーティングを持ち味に10代のころから活躍し、2018年のグランプリファイナルで優勝、全日本選手権は2019年から2連覇しました。
しかし、ここ数年は右足首のけがなどに悩まされ、昨シーズンまで2シーズン続けてすべての試合を欠場しました。
今シーズンは、ミラノ・コルティナオリンピックの代表選考を兼ねた全日本選手権につながる中部選手権にエントリーしていましたが、大会開幕を3日後に控え、自身のSNSで、右足首の状態が万全でないため、欠場すると表明しました。
この結果、紀平選手の来年のオリンピック出場の可能性がなくなりました。
紀平選手はSNSで「思い切り練習できないもどかしさや不安を感じる日々が続き、悔しい気持ちでおります。今回は安全面を考慮し、欠場する判断に至りました」とコメントしました。
その上で、「新たな挑戦に向けて前向きに取り組んでおります。今回の決断は苦渋のものでしたが引き続き復活に向け、全力で努力してまいります」とつづっています。
