28日午後4時27分、熊本県熊本地方を震源とする地震があり、熊本県の宇城市と氷川町で震度7の揺れを観測しました。この地震で、津波注意報が有明・八代海に出されています。建物などの被害情報を随時更新してお伝えします。

震度5強を観測した熊本市中央区にある熊本城総合事務所によりますと、地震の影響で、熊本城の石垣の一部が崩れたという複数の報告があったということで、被害の状況を確認しているということです。

震度7の揺れを観測した熊本県宇城市の市役所職員は、「短い横揺れのあとに強い縦揺れが続いて、棚にあった物はほとんど落ちて散乱している。庁舎の床に複数箇所、ひびが入っている」と話していました。
