5日午後1時すぎ、山梨県上野原市の中央自動車道で乗用車やトラックなど7台が関係する事故がありました。警察と消防によりますと、この事故で7人がけがをして病院に搬送されました。詳しいけがの程度は分かっていませんが、いずれも意識はあるということです。

事故の影響で中央自動車道は上り線が、大月インターチェンジから上野原インターチェンジの間と、都留インターチェンジから大月ジャンクションの間で通行止めとなっています。
