後期高齢者の医療費の窓口負担 「配慮措置」きょうで終了
75歳以上で医療費の窓口負担が2割の人を対象に行われてきた負担の増加を緩和する措置が、30日で終了します。
原則1割となっている75歳以上の後期高齢者の医療費の窓口負担は、3年前の制度改正で、単身世帯は年収200万円以上、複数世帯は世帯年収が320万円以上で2割に引き上げられた一方、負担の増加を緩和するため、1か月の外来受診の負担増は3000円までとする「配慮措置」が設けられました。
この措置は30日で終了し、10月1日以降、外来の窓口負担が増えるケースが出てきます。
例えば、75歳以上で窓口負担が2割の人の医療費が月5万円だった場合、
▽30日までは窓口負担が、5万円の1割の5000円に、3000円を加えた8000円でしたが、
▽10月1日以降は5万円の2割にあたる1万円となり、2000円負担が増えます。
ただ、「高額療養費制度」があるため、窓口負担は最大でも月1万8000円に抑えられます。
厚生労働省によりますと、影響を受けるのは推計でおよそ310万人に上り、負担額は平均で年9000円程度増える見込みです。
一方、これによって現役世代の保険料負担は年240億円程度、軽減されるということです。
厚生労働省は「制度の持続可能性を確保するため、今後もすべての世代が能力に応じて支え合う『全世代型社会保障』の構築に向け議論を進めたい」としています。
