関係者によりますと、男性検事はこれまでの調査に女性との関係を認めているということです。

この問題が明らかになったことを受けて、男性検事が当時、進めていた一連の捜査で起訴され、裁判が続いている被告の弁護士が「捜査の適正さに疑いがある」などとして、被告の裁判にこの検事を証人として出廷させるよう裁判所に求めたことが被告側への取材で分かりました。

検察はこれまでの調査で、検事と女性との不適切な関係による捜査への影響はなかったとみているものとみられます。

一方、被告側の関係者は「法廷で捜査が適正だったか明らかにする必要があると考え、証人としての出廷を求めた」としています。
