2024年4月に現役を引退し、現在はイトマンスイミングスクールの特別コーチを務めている入江さん。今回は「NO SWIM NO LIFE‍♂️」とコメントを添え、自身が泳ぐ様子を収めた動画を披露しました。

イトマンスイミングスクールに記載されているプロフィールによると、入江さんは0歳から水泳を始め、中学生時代に種目を背泳ぎ一本に絞り、高校1年生のとき、はじめての高校総体200m背泳ぎで優勝したそうです。 2011年8月に行われたユニバーシアードで三冠を達成し、2012年ロンドン五輪では200m背泳ぎの銀メダル含め3個のメダルを獲得。2016年リオ五輪、2020年東京五輪に出場し、4大会の五輪日本代表となり、 2022年国際大会日本代表選考会にて7大会連続の世界水泳日本代表選手となりました。2024年4月に現役を引退した後は、イトマン特別コーチとして、後進の育成に携わっています。
