ガーミン、ついに心電図対応 最新モデル以外も
ガーミンジャパンは、心拍を計測・記録する「心電図アプリ」の提供を開始した。これによりガーミンのウェアラブルウォッチで心電図の記録が可能になる。

心電図(ECG)アプリケーションは、Garminウェアラブルウォッチのセンサーを使用して、心臓の鼓動を制御する電気信号を記録。その記録を分析し、心房と心室が同期して鼓動していないときに発生する心房細動(不規則な心拍の兆候)を検出することが可能になる。
アプリでは経過時間に沿ったグラフ表記、「洞調律」「心房細動(AFib)」「心拍数が高すぎる/低すぎる」「判定不能」の4つの結果を表示。心房細動の兆候が見られた場合は警告が表示される。ウォッチでの確認のほか、無料アプリ「Garmin Connect」でも確認が可能。結果はPDFで出力し、医師と共有もできる。
対応モデルはVenu 3、Enduro 3、quatix 7 Pro、fēnix 7 Pro、fēnix 8、epix Pro、tactix 8など。
