イオン、店内に災害級の暑さをしのぐ「クールスポット」
イオンは、夏に向けて“身を守る猛暑対策”と“猛暑でも楽しめる夏”を柱とする涼活推進プロジェクト「COOL de ACTION 2025」を4月から9月にかけて展開する。指定暑熱避難施設「クーリングシェルター」を開設するほか、クーリングシェルター以外の店舗でも涼しい休憩スペース「イオンのクールスポット」を設置する。

猛暑による社会課題に対応し、身を守りつつ夏を楽しめる環境づくりを推進するための取り組み。長期に渡って猛暑対策を実施するとともに、夏ならではの楽しさを地域社会とともに創出することを目指す。
全国の「イオン」「イオンスタイル」「イオンモール」のうち約1,200カ所が、各自治体から「クーリングシェルター」に指定されている。猛暑日(熱中症特別警戒アラート発表時)は、涼しく過ごせる避難場所として開放する。
クーリングシェルターに指定されていない店舗でも、独自に3,300カ所の「イオンのクールスポット」を設置。暑さをしのぎ、熱中症リスクの低減をサポートするための施設は合計約4,500カ所となる。
また、約13,000人の「熱中症対策アンバサダー」資格取得を推進。イオングループ全店長に資格取得を進め、店内巡回や来店客への声かけ、予防アドバイスを実施する。環境省・文部科学省・農林水産省が後援する認定制度で、正しい熱中症対策知識の普及に務める。
そのほか、夜間クーポン導入により、気温が下がる時間帯に安全・快適に買物できる体制を整える。
イオンでは暑さ対策に役立つアイテムを4月から9月まで長期展開するほか、夏を楽しむイベント、イオングループ各社との連携による安全かつ涼しく夏を満喫できる地域企画などを順次拡大する。
