千葉 白井 工業団地井戸でPFASの一種検出 国目標値の480倍濃度
有機フッ素化合物の「PFAS」のうち、有害性が指摘されている物質について、千葉県白井市が市内の工業団地の井戸を調査したところ、最大で国の暫定目標値の480倍となる極めて高い濃度が検出されました。
有機フッ素化合物の「PFAS」の一種、「PFOS」と「PFOA」の2つの物質は有害性が指摘され、国内で製造や輸入が禁止されていますが、白井市では少なくとも5年前から、隣の柏市との境を流れる川で国の暫定目標値を上回る濃度が検出されています。
この川には白井市内の工業団地から雨水などが流れ込んでいて、団地にはかつて「PFOS」を使用していた事業所があったことなどから、市はことし1月、団地内の9か所の井戸で地下水の調査を行いました。
その結果、3か所で国の値を上回る濃度が検出され、このうち1か所の濃度は、国の値の480倍に上ったということです。
市は、周辺の地域で井戸水を飲まないよう呼びかけるとともに、今後、調査範囲を広げ、生活への影響や原因を調べることにしています。
