コメの食味ランキング 最高の「特A」銘柄 2年ぶり増加
去年生産されたコメの味などを審査する「食味ランキング」の結果が公表され、暑さに強い品種が広がったことなどから、最高の「特A」の評価を受けた銘柄の数は2年ぶりに増加しました。
コメの食味ランキングは日本穀物検定協会が毎年実施していて、コメの味や香りなどを審査して5段階で評価します。
ことしは全国で生産された144の銘柄が審査され、最高の「特A」の評価を受けたのは43で去年より4つ多く、2年ぶりに増加しました。
増加の理由について、暑さに強い品種が広がっていることに加えて、水の管理などの暑さ対策が適切に行われたことなどを挙げています。
地域別に見ると、主産地の東北では去年8月に雨が降って気温が下がるなどコメの生育によい環境となり、4つの銘柄でランクが上がりました。
井出道雄会長は会見で「全国的に高温に強い品種への切り替えが進み、特Aの増加につながっている。生産者などの努力があらわれた結果だ」と話しています。
