資源開発大手の「INPEX」は、権益を持っている中央アジアの油田の原油を日本企業に優先的に販売する方針を固めたことが関係者への取材で分かりました。
関係者によりますと、国が出資する資源開発大手の「INPEX」は、自社で権益を持っている中央アジアの油田で生産された原油を日本の石油元売りなどの企業に優先的に販売する方針を固めたということです。
会社では、中央アジアのカザフスタンにある「カシャガン油田」とアゼルバイジャンにある「ACG油田」にそれぞれ権益を持っています。
通常は2つの油田で生産した原油は地理的に近いヨーロッパ向けに販売していますが、会社では、イラン情勢の緊迫化で安定調達に懸念が生じていることを受けて一部を日本向けに切り替え、調達先の多角化につなげる考えです。
ただ、いずれの油田から輸出する場合でも、地中海からアフリカの喜望峰を経るとホルムズ海峡を通過するルートよりも2倍以上の日数を要する見込みです。
このため、コストが高いなど採算面の課題も多く、販売先の企業と具体的な条件をめぐり折り合うかが焦点です。
