山口 徳山動物園でトラやサルに“氷のプレゼント”
連日厳しい暑さが続く中、山口県周南市の徳山動物園では氷に入った肉や果物がトラやサルにプレゼントされました。
このイベントは周南市の徳山動物園で開かれ、8月最後の週末となる30日は多くの親子が訪れました。
暑さに弱いアムールトラに氷に入った鶏の胸肉がプレゼントされると、舌でなめたり鋭い爪で削ったりしながら味わっていました。
また、アカゲザルは氷に入ったリンゴやオレンジをもらい、果物にありつこうと氷をかじっていました。
園内では訪れた人にも涼を感じてもらおうと、動物園で人気のゾウのイラストが描かれたミスト噴射機も設置され、子どもたちがゾウの鼻のホースの部分から勢いよく噴射されるミストを浴びながら楽しんでいました。
山口市から訪れた12歳の男の子は「サルも氷をもらって涼しく過ごせたのではないかと思いました。自分もミストを浴びて気持ちよかったです」と話していました。
