村上総務相 参院選めぐり SNS運営事業者に“偽情報”対応要請
来月3日に公示される参議院選挙をめぐり、村上総務大臣は27日の閣議のあとの記者会見で、偽情報の拡散や候補者への悪質なひぼう中傷が懸念されるとして、SNSなどの運営事業者に偽情報を減らすための対応を要請したことを明らかにしました。
この中で村上総務大臣は「候補者や有権者によるSNSなどを利用した情報発信や収集が活発になる中で、偽情報の拡散に伴うリスクや候補者への悪質なひぼう中傷のおそれが指摘されている」と述べました。
このため、総務省は、SNSの大規模な運営事業者に対して
▽削除の申し出を受け付ける窓口を公表することや
▽削除の基準を策定し、迅速に判断するなど偽情報を減らすための対応を要請したということです。
村上総務大臣は「SNSなどを利用して情報を入手する際にはうのみにすることなく発信源を確認し、複数の情報を比較して真偽をよく確認していただきたい」と呼びかけました。
