八潮の道路陥没 県が初の住民説明会 健康影響を懸念する声も
男性1人が安否不明になった埼玉県八潮市の大規模な道路陥没で、埼玉県は22日、初めて住民説明会を開き、県は住民専用の電話相談窓口を設けるなどと説明した一方、住民からはにおいや工事に伴う振動を訴える声や健康への影響などについての質問や意見が出されました。
八潮市で開かれた説明会は埼玉県の大野知事が出席し、はじめに「応急復旧にむけて、救出を優先しながらも要望を丁寧に伺い工事などを進めていく」とあいさつしました。
このあと県の担当者が、トラックに乗っていて転落した74歳の男性の捜索に向けた下水道管をう回させるバイパス工事におよそ3か月かかると見込まれることや、付近の住民や企業専用の電話相談窓口を新たに設けることなどを説明しました。
住民からは、工事に伴う振動や健康への影響を懸念する声が相次ぎ、「道路陥没にともなう営業の補償は考えているのか」とか、「救助を第一と思い、日々我慢して過ごしているが、においや工事の振動をなんとかできないか」などといった意見が出されました。
これに対し県の担当者は「それぞれ状況が異なるので、まずは専用の窓口に相談してほしい」などと答えていました。
参加した住民からは、このほか「事故を防ぐことはできなかったのか」などと県のこれまでの対応を批判する意見もありました。
50代の女性は「住民が抱えている課題を県に伝えるきっかけを持てたのはよかった」と話し、60代の男性は「交通規制の影響で今も営業できていない人がいるので、対策を検討してもらいたい」と話していました。
説明会のあと大野知事は「目の前に穴が開いていて、住民の皆さんが非常に不安に思われていることを痛切に感じた。これまで以上に丁寧に、寄り添った対応をしていきたい」と話していました。
