備蓄米 きょうから入札 店頭に並ぶのは3月下旬以降の見通し
コメの流通を円滑にするために初めて行われる政府の備蓄米の入札が10日から始まります。スーパーの店頭などに並ぶのは3月下旬以降になる見通しで、市場への放出が価格の安定につながるか注目されます。
コメの価格高騰が続く中、農林水産省は、コメの流通を円滑にするため備蓄米21万トンを2回の入札を通じて、市場に放出することにしています。
去年とおととしに収穫された15万トンが対象となる初回の入札が10日から始まり、「青森県産まっしぐら」や「宮城県産ひとめぼれ」などの銘柄を対象に最も高い価格を提示した業者から順番に落札します。
入札には全国組織の「JA全農」など一定の条件を満たした集荷業者の参加が見込まれていて10日午前10時に締め切られたあと、落札されなかったコメがある場合には11日も入札が行われます。
農林水産省は残る6万トンについても入札に向けた準備を速やかに進める方針で流通の改善がみられない場合には備蓄米を追加で放出することも検討するとしています。
今回落札された備蓄米がスーパーの店頭などに並ぶのは3月下旬以降になる見通しで、市場への放出がコメの価格の安定につながるか注目されます。
