桜と伝える震災の記憶 岩手 陸前高田

東日本大震災で大きな被害を受けた岩手県陸前高田市では、津波の教訓を伝えるため、地域の人たちが津波の到達した範囲に沿って桜を植える活動を行っています。

これまでに桜を植樹した場所と津波の到達範囲を地図に重ねて見ることができます。（2026年4月時点のデータです）

東日本大震災と東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故によって北海道に避難した男性が、自宅の庭に植えたものです。
