中東の日本人旅行者など チャーター機で8日退避へ 政府が調整
中東各地から出国できないでいる日本人旅行者などへの対応をめぐり、政府は、サウジアラビアとオマーンから現地時間の今月8日にチャーター機で退避させる方向で調整しています。搭乗費用は無料とし政府が負担する方針です。
中東各地で空域の閉鎖が続き、多くの日本人旅行者などが現地から出国できなくなっていることを受けて、政府はクウェート、バーレーン、カタール、UAE＝アラブ首長国連邦の4か国に滞在する日本人について、希望者をチャーター機で日本に退避させることにしています。
これについて政府は、サウジアラビアとオマーンまで陸路で輸送したうえで、現地時間の今月8日にそれぞれの空港から出発する方向で調整しています。
茂木外務大臣は衆議院外務委員会で「イランとイスラエルで邦人保護の第一弾のオペレーションを実行したが、周辺国からの退避を希望する人もいる。しっかりと準備を進めている」と述べました。
