中東産原油積んだタンカー 愛媛の製油所に到着 ホルムズ海峡通らないルートで
イラン情勢を受けて原油の安定供給が懸念される中、中東産の原油を積んだタンカーが、29日、愛媛県今治市の製油所に到着しました。会社によりますと、アメリカとイスラエルがイランへの軍事作戦を開始したあと、中東を出発した原油が日本に到着するのは初めてだということです。
29日午後、愛媛県今治市の石油元売り会社の製油所に到着したのは、会社がサウジアラビアから輸入した中東産の原油およそ10万キロリットルを積んだタンカーです。
事実上封鎖されているホルムズ海峡を通らないルートで運ばれてきたもので、会社によりますと、アメリカとイスラエルがイランへの軍事作戦を開始したあと、中東を出発した原油が日本に到着するのは初めてだということです。
この会社では到着した原油を30日にかけてタンカーから製油所のタンクに移し、ガソリンや軽油、ナフサなどの石油製品を製造して西日本を中心に出荷する予定だということです。
太陽石油の石川純一四国事業所長は「中東エリア全体が緊迫している中、無事に原油を受け入れることができて安どしている。引き続き原油調達の多様化に取り組み、関係省庁などと連携しながら対応していきたい」と話していました。
