大船渡山林火災 倉庫や漁具に火の粉付着し拡大か 国交省調査
ことし2月に岩手県大船渡市で発生した山林火災で住宅などへの被害が拡大した要因について、国土交通省などは火の粉が住宅の近くにある倉庫や網などの漁具に付着して燃えたことだとみられるとする調査結果を公表しました。
ことし2月に大船渡市で発生した山林火災は、焼失面積がおよそ3370ヘクタールと平成以降で最大規模となり、住宅などにも多くの被害が出ました。
被害が拡大した要因について、国土交通省の国土技術政策総合研究所と建築研究所が現場での確認のほか人工衛星のデータなどを活用して調査し、27日結果を公表しました。
それによりますと、調査の対象は三陸町綾里と赤崎町にある合わせて10の地区で、225棟の住宅などに焼損被害が確認されたということです。
また、住宅の近くにある倉庫や物置、網などの漁具の焼損も多く確認されたとしています。
こうしたことから倉庫や漁具に火の粉が付着して燃え、住宅などに燃え移ったとみられるとしています。
今後、被害が拡大した要因をさらに詳しく調べるということです。
