XREALは8日、Android XR向け空間コンピューティングデバイス「XREAL AURA」の価格を発表した。メモリ/ストレージは、12GB/256GBモデルが229,800円、16GB/512GBモデルが269,800円。製品は年内の出荷を予定し、一般向けの注文受付は今後数週間以内に開始する。 XREAL AURAは、Googleおよびクアルコムとの協業で開発した光学シースルー(OST)方式のXRグラス。瞳孔間距離に応じてM(60～66mm)とL(66～72mm)の2サイズを用意し、95g以下の軽量フレームと最大70度の視野角を備える。グラス本体とAndroid XR搭載のコンピューティングパックを分離する「スプリット・コンピューティング・アーキテクチャ」を採用。コンピューティングパックは処理を担うほか、アプリや画面操作を行なうトラックパッドとしても利用できる。ハンドトラッキング機能や「Sound by Bose」も搭載する。日本、米国、カナダ、韓国では、10月7日以前に各種予約パスを購入したユーザーを対象に残額支払いを受付中。10月31日以前に支払いを完了した場合は優先出荷の対象となる。その他の地域では2027年から順次展開する。
