愛媛 山林火災 今治市と西条市「鎮火」発表 発生から23日目
先月、愛媛県今治市で起きた山林火災について今治市と隣接する西条市は、発生して23日目となった14日、再び燃え広がるおそれはなくなったとして「鎮火した」と発表しました。
先月23日に愛媛県今治市で起きた山林火災は、焼けた面積が隣接する西条市も含めておよそ442ヘクタールに上り、県内では平成以降、最大規模の山林火災となったほか、住宅や倉庫など22棟が被害を受けました。
先月31日に鎮圧が発表されたあとも、消防などが火災につながる熱源がないか確認を続けてきました。
そして発生して23日目となった14日、今治市と西条市は再び燃え広がるおそれはなくなったとして、午後3時に「鎮火した」と発表しました。
2つの市は、強風や乾燥が続くなど火災の危険性が高い場合は引き続き火の取り扱いに注意するよう呼びかけています。
今治市の徳永市長は「今回の経験と教訓をしっかりと胸に刻み、被災された皆様の生活再建と地域の復旧・復興に向けて全力で取り組んでまいります」とコメントしています。
