「Oura Ring」、累計販売550万個を突破
フィンランドと米国に拠点を持つOURAは、スマートリング「Oura Ring」の累計販売数が550万個を超えたと発表した。2015年の販売開始以来の累計で、その半数以上は過去1年間に販売された。2024年の年間収益は5億ドルを超え、前年比で2倍以上を記録。25年も再び倍増し、年間10億ドルの売上達成を見込む。
Oura Ringは睡眠や活動量、心臓の健康などを計測する指輪型デバイス。Ouraメンバーの51%は慢性疾患を抱え、日々の身体の変化を把握するツールとして活用しているという。また、全利用者の11%が医療従事者。
OURAは現在、150カ国以上で製品を展開。20カ国・4,000以上の店舗で販売された。米国ではアメリカン・エキスプレスと連携し、Consumer Platinum Card会員向けに最大200ドルの購入特典を提供している。
日本では、7月17日に「Oura Ring4」の発売とともに、屋外広告展開や販路拡大など、本格的な日本進出を果たした。
