太平洋戦争中の疎開先での生活紹介する展示会 東京 杉並区
ことしは戦後80年です。東京 杉並区では太平洋戦争中の子どもたちの疎開先での生活の様子などを紹介する展示会が開かれています。
東京 杉並区の博物館では戦時中、東京から集団疎開をした子どもたちの暮らしぶりなどを紹介するパネルや資料、およそ60点が展示されています。
このうち、疎開先で撮られた写真のパネルには、物資が不足する中で子どもたちが山から薪を担いで運ぶ姿や畑で農作業を行う様子が写されています。
また、父親に宛てた手紙には「体に気をつけて病気などぜったいにしないようにしてください。家の人も皆元気でがんばってこの大戦争をかちぬきましょう」と書かれ、離れて暮らす家族を心配する子どもの心境がつづられています。
一方、展示会ではもう1つの疎開として、「建物強制疎開」について紹介しています。
「建物強制疎開」は主要施設を火災から守るために、あらかじめ周辺の建物を壊すことで、展示されている図面には取り壊す予定の建物に番号がつけられています。
杉並区郷土博物館学芸員の佐藤友美さんは「戦争によって年頃の子たちが親元を離れて寂しい思いをしながら、大変な生活をしていたことを伝えたいです」と話していました。
企画展は、杉並区立郷土博物館分館で9月7日まで開かれています。
