松山 道後温泉本館で伝統の「すだれかけ」 夏の訪れ告げる
松山市の観光名所、道後温泉本館で夏の訪れを告げる伝統の「すだれかけ」が行われ、入浴客たちが涼みながら夏の風情を楽しんでいました。
国の重要文化財に指定されている松山市の道後温泉本館では、夏に休憩室の風通しをよくしたり直射日光を避けたりするため窓の外側にすだれをかけるのが、およそ130年続く伝統行事となっています。
2日は松山市の職員や施設の従業員およそ10人が、天然の「あし」で作られたすだれ、およそ250枚を軒先に次々とつるしていました。
道後温泉本館では気温が高くなると冷房を使うことにしていますが、2日は窓を開けて外からの風が入るようにしていて、早速、湯上がりの客がくつろぎながら夏の風情を楽しんでいました。
神奈川県から訪れた20代の女性は「一直線にすだれがかかっていて迫力があってきれいだなと思います。外と比べて中のほうが涼しく感じます」と話していました。
松山市道後温泉事務所の白川剛士主幹は「訪れた方からは夏らしくてよいという声をもらいました。夏の風物詩ということで毎年実施しているので、この風景を多くのお客様に見てもらいたい」と話していました。
