円相場や株価に影響を及ぼすアメリカの雇用統計が発表され、10月の農業分野以外の就業者は、16万5000人増加し、市場の予想を大きく上回りました。

FRB＝連邦準備制度理事会の金融政策を見通す上で、来週発表される消費者物価指数の内容が焦点となります。

アメリカ労働省が6日発表した10月の雇用統計によりますと、景気の動向を敏感に示す農業分野以外の就業者は、9月から16万5000人増加しました。

6万5000人程度の増加を見込んでいた市場の予想を大きく上回り、8月と9月の農業分野以外の就業者数もそれぞれ上方修正されました。

また、失業率は、9月より0.1ポイント低い4.1％となり、アメリカの雇用情勢の堅調さを改めて示す形となりました。

金融市場では、インフレ率が依然として高い水準となっているため、FRBが12月の会合で追加の利上げを決めるとの見方が広がっています。

FRBのウォーシュ議長は10月の会合のあとの記者会見で追加利上げに含みを持たせましたが、同時に、物価などのデータを慎重に見極める考えを示していて来週、発表される消費者物価指数の内容が焦点となります。
