日本航空(JAL)と東京電力エナジーパートナーは、ガス料金の支払いでマイルや「JAL Life Status ポイント」がたまる新サービス「JALガス Powered by TEPCO」(JALガス)の提供を7月23日から開始する。JALマイレージバンク(JMB)会員向けの新サービス。月々のガス料金100円につき3マイルが貯まる高い還元率が特徴で、「JAL Life Status ポイント」も契約内容にかかわらず毎月1ポイント貯まる。提供エリアの各都市ガスの一般料金より約3%安く設定。一部エリアでは「生活かけつけサービス」「ガス機器・床暖修理サービス」が付帯する。また、「くらしTEPCO web」へのログインなどで貯まる「くらしTEPCOポイント」はJALのマイルへ交換できる。 JALガスの対象エリアは、東京電力エナジーパートナーが小売事業を行なう東京エリア、武州エリア、大東エリア、東部エリア、東邦エリア、静岡エリア、大阪エリア。新サービスは、JALが推進している「JALマイルライフ」の一環で、航空利用以外の日常生活でもマイルを貯められるようにする取組み。
