冬を越したコハクチョウ シベリアへ北帰行始まる 長野 安曇野
長野県安曇野市で冬を越したコハクチョウが、およそ4000キロ離れたシベリアに帰る「北帰行」が始まり、18日も数羽ずつ群れになって北の方角へ飛び立つ姿が見られました。
安曇野市を流れる犀川周辺はコハクチョウが越冬のためシベリアから飛来する場所として知られ、多い時には1000羽以上が羽を休める姿が見られます。
長年、コハクチョウの観察や保護を続けている「アルプス白鳥の会」によりますと、今シーズンは例年に比べて飛来数が少なく、ピーク時でも283羽にとどまりました。
17日、犀川周辺のコハクチョウが200羽ほどまで減っていることが確認され、繁殖地であるシベリアの北極海沿岸に向けて飛び立つ「北帰行」が本格的に始まりました。
そして、18日の朝、空が明るくなり始めるとコハクチョウたちは互いに首を上下に動かして合図を送り合い、数羽ずつ群れとなって北の方角へ飛び立っていきました。
「アルプス白鳥の会」の会田仁さんは「寒い冬が白鳥の北帰行とともに去り、春の訪れを感じます。また来シーズンも元気な姿を見せてほしいです」と話していました。
安曇野市でのコハクチョウの北帰行は、来月下旬まで続くということです。
