アドビ、Fireflyが大幅強化 共同編集ボードや”他社”モデル対応
Adobeは4月24日(英国時間)、「Adobe MAX London 2025」を開催し、生成AI「Firefly」シリーズの新モデルを含む、Creative Cloud関連のアップデートを発表した。生成対象は画像・動画・ベクターと多岐にわたり、共同制作に対応する新ツール「Firefly Board」などが発表された。

Fireflyの画像生成モデルは、従来の「Image Model 3」から「Image Model 4」へとバージョンアップされた。写実性や構図の自由度が高まり、生成速度も向上している。日常的なデザインワークやアイデア出しに適した仕様とされる。また、より上位モデルの「Image Model 4 Ultra」は、質感や細部のディテール表現に強みを持ち、小さな構造物を含む複雑なシーンの描写に対応。最大2K解像度の生成により、ディテールとリアリズムが求められるプロジェクトに適する。
動画生成モデル「Firefly Video Model」は、これまでのベータ提供を経て正式版として一般向けに公開された。IPフレンドリー&プロダクションに対応した商用利用可能な動画AIモデル。最大1,080pまでの解像度や16:9、9:16、1:1のアスペクト比に対応する。
ベクター素材生成に対応する「Firefly Vector Model」もWeb版で提供が始まった。ロゴやパッケージデザインなどの用途に向けて、編集可能なベクター形式でアセットを生成できる。これによりパーツ単位での編集を実現する。Vector ModelはIllustratorのコンテンツタスクバーから呼び出しが可能。
新たに追加された「Firefly Board」は、複数人での共同制作やアイデア出しを目的としたビジュアル編集ツール。キャンバスに画像やテキストなどの素材を並べて検討できるほか、生成AIを活用したリミックスやアセット提案も行なえる。
使用するAIエンジンも選択可能で、Firefly各モデルに加え、Google Imagen3やVeo2、OpenAI GPTの画像生成、Flux 1.1 Proなど、他社の生成AIも組み合わせて利用できる。さらに、今後数カ月内で、fal.ai、Ideogram、Luma、Runwayなどのモデルにも対応予定。なおAdobe Fireflyは、学習コンテンツをAdobeが管理し、著作権侵害のリスクを減らしている点が特徴だが、他社モデルを活用して生成した成果物については「クリエイターの責任で使ってほしい」としている。
スマートフォン向けには「Fireflyモバイル版」が発表された。iOSおよびAndroidに対応。提供開始日は未定ながら、移動中や外出先でも「テキストから画像・動画生成」「画像から動画生成」といった各AIを利用できる。
Adobeが推進する「コンテンツ認証イニシアティブ(CAI)」との連携も強化された。Fireflyをはじめとする同社製品で生成されたコンテンツには、使用したAIモデルや編集履歴などを記録する「コンテンツクレデンシャル」が付与される。これにより、制作物の来歴や出所を示す手段が提供され、生成コンテンツの信頼性向上や著作権対応への支援が進められている。
