アドビ、PhotoshopなどのAI強化 保存高速化や「調和」
アドビは29日、「Adobe Photoshop」と「Adobe Illustrator」の最新アップデートを公開した。Photoshopでは削除ツールの強化、より自然に合成させる「調和」や低解像度な画像を高解像度にする「生成アップスケール」など、AIを活用した機能を追加。Illustratorでは「保存時間」を短縮させるオプションや、アートボード機能の向上が図られた。

アップデートでは、ベータ版を含んだ機能追加がされており、デスクトップ版、Web版、アプリ版(iOS)など、それぞれのベータ版や早期アクセス版をダウンロードして利用できる。
■ AI利用で自然な合成が可能に
「調和 (ベータ版)」は、画像の合成に関する機能で2024年10月のAdobe MAXで「Project Perfect Blend」として初めて紹介された。追加したいオブジェクトと元画像の背景情報を分析し、カラー、ライティング、シャドウ、視覚的なトーンを自動的に調整して、シームレスで統一感のある合成画像を作成できる。この機能はAdobe Firefly Image Modelを利用し、Photoshopのデスクトップ版とWeb版ではベータ版として、モバイル版(iOS)では早期アクセス版として提供される。
■ 低解像画像を最大8メガピクセルにアップスケール
「生成アップスケール (ベータ版)」は、画像の鮮明さを損なうことなく、低解像度な画像を最大8メガピクセルまで高解像度化する。印刷や配信、古い画像ファイルなどの画像品質を向上させるのに有効とし、デスクトップ版とWeb版のベータ版で利用できる。
■ 違和感少なめに不要なオブジェクトを削除
「削除ツールの強化」では、従来よりも高品質に不要なオブジェクトを削除できる。不要な電線の削除、ポートレートの背景の調整などに活用でき、削除されたエリアはノイズが少なく、背景とより自然に調和するようになった。本機能はデスクトップ版とWeb版で利用可能。
さらに、「プロジェクト (ベータ版)」機能がPhotoshopのデスクトップ版に導入される。これは作業ファイルや納品物を一元的に管理・整理できる新しいアプローチで、複数のローカルドライブに散らばったファイルを探す手間を省き、共同作業を効率化する。
■ Fireflyのモデルを選択可能に
「生成AIモデルピッカー」は、「生成塗りつぶし」および「生成拡張」機能において使用するAdobe Firefly Image Model を「Image 1」 または 「Image 3」から選択できる機能で、デスクトップ版で利用できる。自身のスタイルやビジョンに合わせてモデル選択できるようになる。
■ Illustratorは保存時間が大幅短縮
保存の最適化により、保存時間が大幅に短縮される。 環境設定のファイル管理に「パフォーマンスのために保存を最適化」オプションを追加した。チェックボタンを有効にすると、差分のみを保存することで処理が高速化する。
また、カラーパネルとスウォッチパネルに「最近使用したカラー」が追加された。これにより、以前使用した色をすばやく選択し、再利用できる。
アートボードツールも機能が向上。アートボードの上下左右に表示されるプラスボタンをクリックすることで、任意の位置に新しいアートボードを簡単に追加できるようになった。作業中のアートボードが黒くハイライト表示され、現在作業しているアートボードを視覚的に把握しやすくなる。
