中国の習近平国家主席は9月30日夜、建国77年を祝う行事で演説し、「祖国統一の大業を推進しなければならない」と強調し、台湾統一に向けた意欲を改めて示しました。

中国で建国記念日にあたる「国慶節」を前に、9月30日夜、北京の人民大会堂で記念の行事が行われ、中国共産党の幹部や各国の大使などが出席するなか習近平国家主席が演説しました。

この中で習主席は、「台湾海峡の両岸の交流と協力を深め、『台湾独立』の分裂勢力に断固として打撃を与え、外部勢力の干渉に反対しなければならない」と述べ、中国が「独立派」とみなす台湾の頼清徳政権をけん制しました。

そのうえで「両岸関係の平和的発展と、祖国統一の大業を推進しなければならない」と強調し、改めて台湾統一への意欲を示しました。

また、外交については「変動と混乱が交錯する世界に、より多くの確実性と前向きなエネルギーを注ぎ込まなければならない」などとして、平和的な政策を堅持すると主張しました。
