日本郵政は、自社ポイントの専用サイトに不正なログインがあり、およそ250件のアカウントで登録されている会員情報が第三者に閲覧された可能性があると発表しました。

このサイトがサイバー攻撃を受けた形跡は確認されていないということで、他社の流出事案で不正に取得したメールアドレスやパスワードなどを利用し、何者かが本人になりすまして不正にログインしたとみています。

日本郵政の発表によりますと、今月15日、自社ポイントをためたり使ったりする「ゆうゆうポイント」のサイトで不審なアクセスを検知しました。

その後の調査の結果、第三者が、日本郵政のサービスの利用者のIDを使って「ゆうゆうポイント」のサイトに不正にログインしていたことが判明したということです。

不正にログインされた可能性のあるアカウントは249件にのぼり、登録されている氏名、住所、生年月日、電話番号、メールアドレスなどの会員情報が第三者に閲覧された可能性があるということです。

このサイトがサイバー攻撃を受けた形跡は確認されていないということで、他社の流出事案で不正に取得したメールアドレスやパスワードなどを利用し、何者かが本人になりすまして不正にログインしたとみています。

また、たまったポイントを不正に利用されたかどうかについてはセキュリティーの観点から明らかにできないとしていて、今月16日から「ゆうゆうポイント」のサイトを停止して詳しい原因などを調べています。
