新潟 上越 農作物に被害 少雨高温続いた影響を県と市が調査
新潟県上越市ではまとまった雨が1か月余り降らなかったうえ、気温が高い日が続いた影響で、農作物への被害が出ていて、8日、市と県などが合同で被害状況を調査しました。
気象台によりますと、上越市の平年の7月1か月間の雨量は200ミリ余りですが、7月はわずか0.5ミリだったうえ、気温の高さも重なり、一部の田んぼでは稲が枯れたり、土がひび割れたりするなどの被害が出ています。
市は8日、被害の状況を把握しようと、県やJAえちご上越と合同で一斉の調査を行いました。
このうち牧区では、市や県、それにJAの担当者が田んぼを順番に回って稲の状態や被害の程度を確認したり、土にできたひび割れの深さをメジャーで計測して調査表に記入したりしました。
県の担当者などによりますと、調査では一部の田んぼで稲の葉先が枯れるなどの被害が確認されましたが、水不足によって現れる稲の葉が針状に丸まる症状は7日、市内にまとまった雨が降ったことで改善していたということです。
上越地域振興局上越東農林事務所の田中文浩 専門員は「きのうの雨で稲が回復しているのを感じた。被害状況を把握し、補助事業などを検討するための参考にしていきたい」と話していました。
