7月24日、ルノー・ジャポンは、新しい「カングー」を発表した。

新しいルノーカングーは、新デザインのエンブレム（フロント、リヤ、センターキャップ、ステアリング）や17インチアルミホイールを採用。駐車支援のフロント／サイド／リヤセンサー＆イージーパーキングアシストも搭載した。

さらに利便性を高めるスマートフォンのワイヤレスチャージング機能や、視認性を高めた10インチデジタルインストゥルメントパネルも備えた。

搭載するパワートレインはガソリンとディーゼルの2種類だ。

グレード構成も見直され、ボディ同色バンパー仕様のみのモノグレードとなった。新しいルノーカングーの価格はガソリンモデルが¥4,190,000、ディーゼルモデルが¥4,390,000。
