蒲田「JUURI」──予約が取れる人気店＆+αのネオ居酒屋にいざ！ 特集「東京グルメトレンド」
「次の予約は3年後」なんて予約困難店をありがたがることに飽きてきた。気になるのは、思い立ったらすぐ行けて、確実に美味しくて、さらに+αのお愉しみがある次世代の名店。蒲田の「JUURI」は生花あり、酒もあり。
【写真を見る】花屋なのに飲める！ そしてツマミもうまい！
京急蒲田駅から続く庶民的なショッピングアーケードの一角。表に観葉植物が並んでいるから一見、花屋にも思える、否、花屋にしか見えない店先から数歩進むと……長いカウンターと、黒板に書かれた美味しそうな小皿料理のメニュー。そう、ここはスペインのタパスとスペイン産の自然派ワインの立ち飲みワインバー兼ショップである。
「気軽に飲みにきてもらえるような場所を商店街の中につくりたくて。夕飯の買い物ついでに1杯、仕事帰りにワインを買いにきてもらって1杯……町の人たちが集まる場所になれたらと思っています」と語るのは、オーナーの上田光嗣。やはり蒲田で、ビブグルマンにも選ばれた人気スペインバル「ソンリサ」のオーナーシェフでもあるから、タパスの味はお墨付きというわけだ。
さらに店の奥へ歩を進めると、上田の妻、絹子さんがブーケをつくっていた。つまり、ここは歴としたフラワーショップでもあり、この花々が蒲田の住民たちだけではなく、遠方からのゲストを呼ぶ起動力になっているのだそう。飲んだ後に観葉植物を求めてもいいし、アレンジをつくってもらう間にタパスをつまむのもいいだろう。花とワインをセットにしてお土産やギフトに贈る人も多いのだとか。ワインとタパス、そして花々が混然一体となった美しい空間にさまざまな人々の声がこだまする様子に、ここは蒲田ではなく、サンセバスチャンかビルバオか、と思わず目をこすりたくなる。
