「こいのぼり」と「なまずのぼり」約70匹が泳ぐ 埼玉 吉川
こどもの日の5月5日、埼玉県吉川市で、「こいのぼり」と特産のなまずののぼりをクレーンで揚げる催しが開かれました。
これは、吉川市三輪野江の重機レンタル会社が、地域を盛り上げようと初めて開きました。
会社の敷地には、地元の人から集めた「こいのぼり」に加え、地域で古くから身近な食材として親しまれている、なまずののぼりが、市から借り受けて用意されました。
従業員がクレーン車のアームの先に付けたワイヤーにのぼりを1匹ずつ結び付けたあと、ゆっくりと揚げていきました。
30分ほどで高さ60メートルに揚がると、およそ70匹の「こいのぼり」と「なまずのぼり」が青空を泳ぎ、近くの子どもたちが歓声をあげながら見上げていました。
4歳と5歳の息子を連れて訪れた母親は「遠目から見ても圧巻でした。子どもたちに喜んでもらえてよかったです」と話していました。
従業員の男性は「こいのぼりは風に流されるので、絡まないように工夫しました。お子さんたちに喜んでもらえてとてもよかったです」と話していました。
