「みずほポイント」開始 楽天・PayPay・dポイントと等価交換
みずほ銀行は、新ポイントサービス「みずほポイントモール」を4月中旬から開始する。みずほ銀行のサービス利用に応じて「みずほポイント」がたまり、貯まったポイントを「PayPayポイント」「楽天ポイント」「dポイント」に交換できるようになる。

「みずほポイントモール」は、4月中旬に「みずほマイレージクラブ」をリニューアルするもの。ATMの時間外手数料を無料にするなどの特典に加えて、新たなポイントサービスを展開する。給与の受取や各種決済サービスの利用などの銀行取引で「みずほポイント」が貯まり、貯めたポイントをデジタルギフトや共通ポイントなどに交換できる。
例えば、毎月の給与振込で20ポイント、みずほマイレージクラブカードやみずほ楽天カード、みずほWallet、J-Coin Payなどのキャッシュレスサービスの利用で毎月最大50ポイントを付与する。
特徴は、国内銀行で初めて「PayPay ポイント」「楽天ポイント」「dポイント」の3つの共通ポイントと「1ポイント＝1円相当」で等価交換できること。レートの変動や手数料発生なく、ポイント交換が行なえる。
みずほポイントモールの利用には、みずほマイレージクラブの入会と、みずほダイレクト契約と初回登録が必要。
みずほポイントモールの開発の背景には、顧客の声として、「銀行のサービスを使ってもメリットが感じられない」「ポイント制度が複雑で分かりにくい」「ポイントが使いにくい」という声があったという。こうした課題を解決すべく、みずほポイントモールを開始するとともに、ポイントの等価交換を実現する。
今後、提携企業を増やし、交換可能なポイントやギフトの種類を拡充。「みずほならでは」の特別な特典も提供予定としている。また、新生活応援キャンペーンとして、口座開設などの条件達成で最大5万ポイント付与などのキャンペーンも予定している。
