アメリカ中央軍が今月1日にイランの革命防衛隊の設備などを標的として行った攻撃について、イランのメディアは南部シリクで結婚式が行われていた住宅の周辺が攻撃を受け、5人が死亡したと伝えています。

イランのメディアは3日、犠牲者の大規模な葬儀が行われ、亡くなった4歳の子どものひつぎを大勢の人が抱えて追悼したと大きく伝えています。

こうしたイラン側の報道についてアメリカのバンス副大統領は3日、記者会見で、「極めて疑わしい」と述べる一方で、徹底した調査を行う考えも示しました。

イランは報復として3日、UAE＝アラブ首長国連邦とクウェートにあるアメリカ軍の施設を無人機やミサイルで攻撃したと主張していて、さらなる対立の激化が懸念されます。
