新潟 佐渡で連日100キロ超のマグロ水揚げ 資源管理の効果か
新潟県佐渡市の港で、ことし4月から始まったマグロ漁で連日100キロを超えるマグロが水揚げされています。県の研究所はクロマグロの国際的な資源管理の効果が出ている可能性があるとしています。
佐渡市の沖合で大型定置網のマグロ漁を行っている加茂水産定置網組合によりますと3日、両津港で90キロから210キロほどの大型のクロマグロが5匹水揚げされたということです。
ことしのマグロ漁は4月に始まりましたが、両津港では先月から、連日、100キロを超える大型のクロマグロの水揚げが続いています。
新潟県水産海洋研究所は国際的な資源管理を行って小型のクロマグロを保護した効果が、大型のマグロにも現れているのではないかと分析しています。
加茂水産定置網組合の石塚林二郎組合長は「定置網漁を長年やっているが100キロ以上のマグロが連日、網に入り続けるのは異常だ。ほかの魚をとりたくても網にマグロばかりが入り、漁獲枠も限られているので困っている」と話していました。
