Bリーグ レバンガ北海道加入の富永啓生“飛躍するシーズンに”
バスケットボール男子の日本代表としてパリオリンピックに出場し、Bリーグのレバンガ北海道に加入することになった富永啓生選手が記者会見し、「自分の武器であるスリーポイントシュートでチームに貢献し、チームとしても個人としても飛躍するシーズンにしたい」と新天地での意気込みを示しました。
24歳の富永選手は、身長1メートル88センチの左利きのシューターで、スリーポイントシュートを得意とし、日本代表のメンバーとしておととしのワールドカップで活躍したほか、去年夏のパリオリンピックにも出場しました。
富永選手は、プロ1年目だった昨シーズンは、NBA＝アメリカプロバスケットボールの下部にあたるGリーグでプレーし、新シーズンはレバンガ北海道に加入することを決めていました。
富永選手は9日、札幌市内のホテルで会見し「自分の武器であるスリーポイントシュートでチームに貢献して、チームとしても個人としても飛躍するシーズンにしたい。次のシーズンはチャンピオンシップ出場を目指したいし、日本一を取りたい」と新天地での意気込みを示しました。
また、NBAでのプレーが目標であるとしたうえで「レバンガに入ることが夢への一番の近道だと感じた。オフェンス面だけではなく、ディフェンス面でも成長して、レバンガで結果を残すことで自分の評価も上げていきたい」と話しました。
富永選手が加入するレバンガ北海道は、B1の東地区に所属し、昨シーズンの成績は21勝39敗で8チーム中5位に終わり、来年秋から始まるトップカテゴリーの「Bリーグプレミア」への参入が決まっているなかでチーム強化を図っています。
