アディダスは、1秒でも速いベストタイムを目指して走るすべてのランナーのために開発されたランニングシリーズ「アディゼロ」の新モデル「ADIZERO BOSTON 13（アディゼロ ボストン 13）」を発表した。
5月1日（木）から、限定カラーモデル「ADIZERO BOSTON 13 EQT」を数量限定で発売。その後6月4日（水）から、「フラッシュアクア」をシーズナルカラーとして取り入れた「ADIZERO BOSTON 13」を発売する。
「ADIZERO BOSTON（アディゼロ ボストン）」シリーズは、世界最古の市民マラソン大会であるボストンマラソンの優勝者からインスパイアされ、 1982年に発表されたランニングシューズ。誕生から42年を経て、13代目となる最新モデル「ADIZERO BOSTON 13」が登場した。
「ADIZERO BOSTON 13」はレース本番で もトレーニングでも、ラストまで最適なペースをサポートする高機能オールラウンドモデル。前モデルを特徴づけていたフルレングスのグラスファイバー製5本指ロッド「ENERGYRODS 2.0」を引き続き採用した。カーボンと比較してより屈曲性・柔軟性に優れたグラスファイバーを素材に使用することで、高い推進力を発揮しながらも安定性を確保。バランスの取れた適度な反発力が、序盤のオーバーペースを防ぎつつ、ラストまで最適なペースで走り切る手助けをする。
