三原こども政策相 不適切保育 虐待の未然防止など取り組み強化
神奈川県大和市の保育園で、園児を逆さづりにするなどの不適切な保育が行われていたことについて、三原こども政策担当大臣は遺憾だとしたうえで、虐待の未然防止や早期発見の取り組みを強化していく考えを示しました。
去年、神奈川県大和市の保育園で、当時の園長が園児を逆さづりにしたり暴言を吐いたりするなどの不適切な保育をしていたことがわかり、市は園に対して口頭で指導しました。
これについて三原こども政策担当大臣は閣議のあとの記者会見で「子どもの安全安心が最も配慮されるべき保育施設で、このような事案はあってはならず誠に遺憾だ」と述べました。
また「大和市は通報を受けて調査は行ったと聞いている。一方、保護者への説明や事案の公表が今まで行われていなかったことも含め、指摘しなければならない」と述べ、市の対応が不十分だったという認識を示しました。
そして「安心して子どもを預けていただけるように、保育所などの職員による虐待についても通報義務を設けることを検討している」と述べ、虐待の未然防止や早期発見の取り組みを強化していく考えを示しました。
