アメリカのIT大手アップルの2026年9月までの3か月間の決算は、主力製品であるiPhoneの需要が堅調で増益となりました。

売り上げは去年の同じ時期と比べて11.7％増えて1144億7700万ドル、日本円にしておよそ18兆800億円となりました。

また最終的な利益は11.8％増えて、307億1100万ドル、日本円にしておよそ4兆8500億円となりました。

背景には売り上げ全体のおよそ半分を占めるiPhoneの売り上げが去年の同じ時期と比べて17.4％増えたことや、動画や音楽の配信などサービス部門の売り上げが好調だったことなどがあります。

アップルは初めてとなる折りたたみ式のスマートフォンやタッチ操作の機能を搭載したノートパソコンなど新製品を相次いで市場に投入し、収益源の多様化を進めています。

ジョン・ターナスCEOは2日電話会見を開き「最新の製品ラインナップによって、顧客が製品のアップグレードや乗り換えを検討する理由はこれまで以上に増えている」と自信を示しました。

一方、アップルは6月以降、メモリー半導体の価格高騰などを背景に製品の値上げに踏み切り、ターナスCEOはさらなるコスト上昇の可能性についても言及しました。
