サッカー日本代表の小川航基選手が、オランダ1部・NECナイメヘンからJ1のFC町田ゼルビアに移籍することで合意したことが、クラブ関係者への取材でわかりました。

1メートル86センチの長身を生かしたヘディングや力強いミドルシュートなど多彩な得点パターンと決定力の高さが持ち味のストライカーです。

初出場したワールドカップ北中米大会では1次リーグ初戦のオランダ戦で途中出場し、試合終盤に得意のへディングから味方の同点ゴールにつなげました。

小川選手は2023年に当時J1だった横浜FCからNECナイメヘンに移籍し、3シーズンのリーグ戦で26得点をあげていました。

クラブ関係者によりますと、移籍についてはすでに合意していて、メディカルチェックを経て正式に加入が決まれば3年ぶりのJリーグ復帰となります。

ゼルビアは今シーズンJ1で開幕から3連勝で首位にたち、3試合で12得点をあげていて、小川選手の獲得で攻撃陣がさらに厚みを増します。
