複数のタイムラインを並べて表示できるXのクライアントアプリ「X Pro」の対象プランが急遽変更され、これまで対象だったユーザーが利用できなくなった。月額918円の「プレミアム」プランで利用可能だったものが、日本時間の27日早朝ごろから月額6,080円の「プレミアム プラス」の契約者のみの対応となり、プレミアム契約者は利用できなくなっている。 X Proは、以前は「TweetDeck」と呼ばれていた人気のX用のクライアントアプリ。 27日17時時点では、Xのプラン紹介ページなどの「プレミアム」の紹介から、X Proの文言が外されている。事前の告知もない突然の不利益変更であり、料金も6倍以上になるなど価格差が大きいことから、X上でも多くの疑問の声があがっている。 なお、Xのプロダクト責任者であるNikita Bier氏は、「今後1、2週間以内にXでローンチするものは、X Proよりもはるかに強力なものになる。X Proは、特殊なビジネスワークフローで絶対に必要とする人々のためだけに残しておくつもり」と投稿している。 What we’re launching in X in the next week or two will be much more powerful than XPro.
