浦安駅高架下に商業施設「マーヴ」3月28日開業
東京メトロとメトロ開発は、東西線・浦安駅高架下に商業施設「M’av(マーヴ)浦安」を、3月28日に開業する。

第1期として浦安駅東口側(EAST)に3店舗が開業。西口側の商業施設もリニューアルを行ない、2026年度に「マーヴ浦安」としてグランドオープンする。EASTの出店店舗は「サーティワン アイスクリーム」「モスバーガー&カフェ」「カルディコーヒーファーム」。
マーヴ浦安では環境配慮のため、木造枠組壁工法および木造軸組工法を採用しており、東京メトログループ初の木造建築となる。
軒先にデザイン性のある垂木を現し、施設入口に木製のひし形ビームフレームを柱で支える構造が特徴のパーゴラを配して、自然のぬくもりを感じられる空間を演出。また、鉄道廃材のレールや枕木を中通路床デザインやベンチ素材に活用することで環境への取り組みを行なっている。第1期エリアの敷地面積は912.68m2、延床面積384.01m2。
東京メトログループでは鉄道高架下用地の有効活用を図り、マーヴ、メトロセンター等の高架下商業施設を展開している。東西線は、西船橋駅から西葛西駅まで地上を走っており、西船橋駅以外が高架エリアとなる。このうち妙典駅、行徳駅でマーヴ、その他の各駅でメトロセンターを展開している。出店店舗は、飲食、食物販、スーパー、コンビニなど。
今後も東西線各駅の高架下商業施設について、リニューアル工事を順次進めることを計画している。
