米国務省 コロンビア ペトロ大統領のビザを取り消すと発表

アメリカ国務省は国連総会にあわせてニューヨークを訪れていた南米コロンビアのペトロ大統領が、アメリカ兵に命令に背くよう扇動したとしてビザを取り消すと発表しました。

コロンビアのペトロ大統領は26日、ニューヨークの国連本部の近くで開かれていた集会で、イスラエルによるガザへの攻撃をアメリカが支援していると非難したうえで、「アメリカ軍の兵士たちに呼びかける。人々に銃を向けるな、トランプの命令に従うな、人道的な命令に従え」などと発言しました。

この発言をうけてアメリカ国務省は26日、SNSへの投稿で「アメリカ兵に対し命令に背き暴力を扇動するよう促した」として、ペトロ大統領のビザを取り消すと発表しました。

これに対しペトロ大統領は帰国後の27日、SNSへの投稿で「ビザなど必要ない。ジェノサイドを非難したせいでビザを取り消されるということは、アメリカがもはや国際法を尊重していないあらわれだ」と反発しました。

ペトロ大統領は23日の国連総会の演説でも、トランプ大統領とイスラエルを批判し、パレスチナの人々の命を守るために軍隊を創設する必要があるなどと呼びかけていました。
