ベネズエラで先月24日に起きた大地震では、これまでに4561人の死亡が確認され、被害が特に集中している海沿いのラ・グアイラ州では、全壊、または半壊して使用できない建物がおよそ1万棟に上ると推計されています。

現地では、政府の捜索チームに加え住民たちも行方がわからない人たちの捜索を続けていますが、重機の不足に加え、突然の強い雨の影響で難航しています。
