子どもたちがリニア体験乗車 最高時速500キロ 山梨
春休み中の子どもたちにリニア中央新幹線について知ってもらおうという催しが山梨県都留市で開かれ、小学生などが試験車両に乗り込んで最高時速500キロの乗り心地を体験しました。
催しはリニア中央新幹線の整備を進めるJR東海が企画し、1日都留市にある「山梨リニア実験センター」にはおよそ1万4000件の応募から選ばれた小学生など240人が訪れました。
子どもたちははじめに展示エリアを巡りタイヤやライトなど実際のリニアの部品を見たり触れたりしたほか強い磁力を利用し車両を浮き上げて走行する仕組みなどを学んでいました。
そして試験車両に乗り込み、笛吹市と上野原市を結ぶ42.8キロの実験線を往復し最高時速が500キロに達するリニアの乗り心地を体験しました。
都内から訪れた7歳の男の子は「時速500キロはかっこよくて気持ちよかったです。磁力で浮いて走るのかと勉強になりました」と話していました。
