日本のはるか南東の海上を進む台風18号は、しだいに勢力を強めていて来週、南西諸島に近づくおそれがあります。気象庁は、今後の情報に注意するよう呼びかけています。
気象庁によりますと、台風18号は、日本のはるか南東のマリアナ諸島を北よりに進んでいます。
台風はこのあとも発達しながら北西よりに進み、23日には非常に強い勢力になる見込みで、来週の中ごろ、南西諸島に近づくと予想されています。
その後の予想にはまだ幅がありますが、気象庁は今後の台風の情報に注意するよう呼びかけています。
